About the Club

General Information

The North Launceston Athletic Club is based in the Northern Suburbs of Launceston and was formed in September 1964. The club is affiliated with the Northern Branch Athletics Association Tasmania and summer competition is held at the St Leonards Athletic Centre.

Competing

The summer track and field season commences in early October and concludes in the middle of March each year.

The club is involved during the winter competition and arranges one run at Lilydale. This run is called the Lilydale Lope and is run over 16.9 km. There is also a 2 km on the same day, for juniors, at the same location.
